Medical Secretary/Administrator

We would like to welcome an enthusiastic medical administrator in to our GP surgery, working 25 hours per week. With administration and typing skills that are that are outstanding; you will be an integral member of our friendly and welcoming practice team. The role focuses on supporting GP’s with their administrative requirements, which ranges from audio typing patient referrals and letters, creation and management of letter templates, the day-to-day management of referral processes and any other general administrative duties as required by the practice.

The ideal candidate will:

  • Have previous medical administration/secretary experience
  • Be IT literate and able to pick up new PC systems quickly
  • Be an accurate and swift typist

  • Be able to prioritize and think on your feet
  • Be dynamic, organised and able to manage own workload

Apprentice – Receptionist

We would like to welcome an enthusiastic Apprentice Receptionist in to our GP surgery, working 34 hours per week over 4 days. You will have the opportunity to be fully supported in completing a Business Administration L2 Diploma during your first year of employment. You will benefit from being able to complete everything required for your diploma at the surgery with no need to attend a college or place of study.
You will be an integral part of the Reception Team, contributing to the efficient running of the practice and providing outstanding customer care at all times. The role is diverse and varied focussing on supporting the four primary work areas in the Reception Team: telephone, prescriptions, administration and front-desk reception.

Apprentice – Telephone Receptionist

We would like to welcome an enthusiastic Apprentice Receptionist in to our GP surgery, working 35 hours per week over 4 days. You will have the opportunity to be fully supported in completing a Customer Services L2 Diploma during your first year of employment. You will benefit from being able to complete everything required for your diploma at the surgery with no need to attend a college or place of study.

With customer service and telephony skills that are that are outstanding; you will be an integral member of our friendly and welcoming practice team. The role mainly focuses on dealing with telephone enquiries from patients, which includes booking appointments, general enquires and providing patient results over the phone. The role will also include completion of associated administration tasks.
